We all aware about IRCTC and its services in Indian Railways. This time Irctc creates a new record and breaks it existing record with much difference. On 3rd of August Irctc booked 5.72 Lacs of tickets and its due to the reservation for 2nd November. As 3rd of November is Diwali Festival and evey one will go to their home for celebrating it.
According to the Irctc it was the best day for Irctc as more tickets were booked. Daily stats for booking tickets at Irctc is 4.34 Lacs and on Monday it was 5.72 Lacs.
Last year it was 3.99 Lacs only. There is 10% increase in the booking from last year. As source told us that last year in August we booked 122 Lac tickets for 220 passengers whereas in August 2013 we booked 135 Lacs tickets for 233 Lacs passengers.
Most of the problems are facing by the persons who are living in Metros because now there is no availability in trains every train is full with more that 400 Waiting list.
